002 - Burning Ambitions!

Amy, Cream, Cheese and Marine soon reached Melodi’s home riding her limousine. They finally make their first step and Marine was so amazed of what she saw. She saw a huge shining red palace.

“My word…this is your home, Melodi?” she asked,

“Of course, welcome to the Sapporo Palace, and my home.” Melodi said,

“Wow…” she said with amazement. Then suddenly, six shapes went out from the palace and came near to Melodi. Her mother, Memu asked in worry “Are you okay, my dear? We were so worried about you!”

“I’m okay…like always.” Melodi answered in curiosity,

“You see, I’ve heard from your best friend, Arthur and Kirby that you went to the mall and I found out later on the news that there was a crime going on! Thank goodness all of you came back in one piece.” Memu said in a relief.

“Yeah, we were totally worried about you, Melodi.” Arthur added,

“No need to worry, everyone. I’m back, safe and sound, and I brought our visitors too.” Melodi said,

“Oh, Amy, Cream, Cheese, it’s a pleasure to meet you again.” Memu greeted to the visitors,

“It’s a pleasure to meet you again too, Memu.” Amy greeted,

“Hello to you all again” Cream greeted the rest,

“Well, it’s like you have a new company this year.” Memu said when she saw Marine.

“Oh…hi, ma’am” Marine greeted faintly,

“Please, call me by name, Memu, and I’m Melodi’s mother.” Memu said,

“Oh…okay…Memu.” she said.

“Then Marine, it’s time for you to meet the shapes living in this palace. Let’s first start with who I’m with. Meet my husband, his name is Parm. He’s a treasure hunter.” Memu said,

“Hi, Mr. Parm” Marine greeted,

“The pleasure is mine.” Parm greeted,

“Then these are Melodi’s relatives and one of her best friends, Arthur, Kenny and Claudina.” Memu said,

“Good morning to you, Marine!” they greeted,

“Good morning to you too” Marine greeted,

“This pink creature here is named Kirby. Melodi met him days ago and became friends with him.” Memu said and Kirby greets Marine by saying “Poyo!”

“Hi Kirby, you’re really cute!” Marine said, and then Melodi interrupted,

“By the way, Kirby is the one who owned the Warpstar you saw earlier.” she added,

“Oh, I see. Such a cute owner of the mysterious Warpstar” Cream said,

“…and Marine, welcome to the palace of the Sapporo City, the best palace you can find in the entire Hokkaido Island.” Memu said,

“…this place is really awesome and I’m really glad I came.” Marine said as she looked at the building of the palace,

“And mind you it’s the only one. Come on in everyone.” Memu said as she leads the way to the palace and they went inside.

“Here we are.” Memu said as she showed them the ball room. For Marine, the space was really wide and she said “It’s so huge!”

“You’ll get used to it, Marine.” Amy said,

“I will give you a grand tour around the palace. This huge space is called the ball room. This is where everyone will gather for any celebrations and parties. This is also the place where big dances, like ball for instance are held, despite of its name.” Memu said,

“I don’t know anything about this place but it sure is really awesome!” Marine said. Then they all went through the ball room and reached the dining room.

“Whoa! The table…it’s really long!” Marine said in a shock,

“You must obviously know this place as this is called the dining room. You’re really surprised of our long table. It’s because there are several shapes living in this palace, along with vacant seats for visitors like you.” Memu said.

Then they went to the right door and entered, they saw is a hallway of many doors and graphic pictures. “Whoa, so many rooms!” Marine said with amazement,

“This is the bedroom hallways. If you go through it, you will discover that the hallways form a “U” shape. On the corner edges of these hallways, you can find a staircase. There are four floors of these hallways, three of them look alike, though the second and the third floor are longer ones, and the fourth floor only contains the rooms of the family, which is me, my husband and my only daughter.” Memu explained, “There are two doors at the most tip of the first floor hallway, the one near to us leads to the living room and the other one at the other tip leads to another hallway that leads to the kitchen and the morning table for the family.” she added,

“Morning table, what’s that?” Marine asked,

“That’s the place where the family eats their breakfast in private, away from the relatives, friends and visitors.” she explained,

“Why’s that?” Marine asked again,

“That is also the time where the family will discuss personal activities in the palace. Like party occasions for example.” she answered,

“Oh, I see. This makes me wonder why the palace itself is well balanced, and so peaceful.” Marine said.

“Now I’ve told you almost everything about this palace. It’s up to you if you want to explore around but don’t mess with things, okay?” she asked,

“Okay, Memu” Marine replied,

“Then it’s time for me to lead to your rooms. Follow me, if you please.” she said and they all followed her. They went upstairs to the third floor and reached to their rooms.

“Amy, Cream and Cheese, I will let you take the rooms you had last year, and as for Marine, you will take that room, next to Cream and Cheese’s.” Memu said,

“Oh, thanks Memu” Marine said,

“No problem. I’m sure the room I picked for you would be to your liking.” Memu said, and then Marine went inside to her room and she was amazed of the space and the furniture.

“My golly! It’s so neat!” Marine said with amazement,

“Start fixing your things then, you have a big wardrobe for different outfits over there, your mini cabinet for your make ups. Behind that glass wall is the terrace, where you can see the city lights during nighttime. You can cover the glass wall by that curtain, placed on the sides. And then some of your bedroom basics, you also have an air-conditioner there. Melodi, I’ll leave it up to you then. See you later at lunch time girls” Memu said.

“Okay mom!” Melodi said and she went away, “Marine, after lunch, I have something else to show you in this place. For me it’s the best place you can find in this city.” she added,

“Okay, Melodi” Marine said and she started fixing her things.


Soon enough, Melodi waited and waited until Amy, Cream and Cheese are done with theirs. They went out of their rooms and saw her waiting for Marine.

“Waiting for Marine?” Amy asked,

“Yes, but she seems to be so long. Maybe she’s having trouble.” Melodi said, and then they knocked but no respond. They opened the door and found out that everything’s neat and Marine is already sleeping on the bed.

“Marine, Marine, wake up” Cream said as she tried to wake her up, she then wakes up and asked “What time is it?”

“Marine, you just slept! Come on, let’s have some lunch.” Cream said,

“Oh, okay. I forgot about my hunger” she said and laughed a bit, and then they went out of her room and now on their way to the dining room.


Meanwhile in it, Memu and some shapes are still present. Then Melodi and her friends came in and sat close to where she is sitting. She then said, “Marine, let me ask you. Why did you come here to our palace with your friends in the first place?”

“Well, I just wanted to go to an adventure with my friends. That’s all.” she explained,

Amy then added, “Originally, she wasn’t supposed to come with us. However, she overheard our plans of having a vacation here so she came to us and asked if she can join too.”

“Wow! It’s a good thing you came, and to see your friends again.” Kenny said,

“I’m sure that you will have a lot of fun here.” Claudina added,

“Make yourself home, Marine.” Arthur added,

“Oh, I already do!” Marine said as she giggles. Soon enough, everybody is present for lunch. Memu then said, “This meal will be considered as a special one, celebrating the arrival of our special guests.” then the maids came in and served the food, “Now everyone, dig in!” she said and then everyone started eating their meal.

“Hmm…wow! The food is so delicious!” Marine said,

“Of course, what do you expect?” Amy asked and they both giggled.



After lunch, they all returned to their rooms. Though, Marine, Melodi, Cream and Cheese went to Amy’s room to have a conversation.

Marine then said “You know what; it is indeed a good thing that I came here. Everything seems to be so…so…”

Then Melodi added “Fabulous? Is that what you are going to say?”

“Yeah, that’s right!” Marine agreed.

While they talk, Amy was on the terrace, looking at the city sights and the forest nearby. Then suddenly, she saw something bursting out from the forest. She gasps and said to her friends “Hey girls, look at that!” then they went to the terrace and saw what Amy saw.

“What’s that coming out from the woods?” Cream asked,

“Smoke?!” Marine replied in theory,

“Let’s check it out, maybe there’s something bad going on there. I don’t want that to spread all over.” Melodi said, and then they all ran and on their way towards that certain part of the forest.



They soon reached the entrance of the forest, “It’s seems so quiet all of the sudden.” Cream said and Cheese starts to get scared,

“Don’t be scared, Cheese.” Cream said as she comforts him,

“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go and find out” Marine said in a bit of a fright,

“You said it Marine, so you go first.” Amy said,

“No, you go first!” Marine said back,

“No you!!” Amy exclaimed,

“Wait! Let’s not start fighting, let’s just go together then, to be fair.” Melodi said and everyone agreed and starts to walk through the forest. All of the sudden, a soccer ball fell down and hit Marine’s head.

“Ouch! Who did that?!” she asked furiously, then Arthur, Kenny and Kirby came, which were the ones playing it.

“Hey, did you saw the ball come through here?” Kenny asked,

“There it is! And because of that, it hit my head!” she exclaimed as she pointed the ball,

“Oh, I’m so sorry, Marine. I was the one who kicked it hard and I didn’t know you were all there. I’m really sorry.” Arthur said,

“It’s fine now.” she said. Kirby then gets the ball.

“Okay then, let’s go back to the field and start again, guys!” Kenny said, and then suddenly, a huge explosion occurred in the forest. They were all astounded.

“I’m sure all of you heard that!” Amy said in a shock,

“Whatever it is, we need to find out.” Melodi said. Then everyone went in the forest including Kenny, Arthur and Kirby.


As they were on their way closer, they start to hear yelling sounds. “What are they talking about? It’s like there’s a fight or something.” Marine said,

“Hmm…I think…” Melodi said but then suddenly, a bunch of stars passed through them. They all duck in time and luckily no one was hurt by it. “What was that?!” Cream asked in a shock,

“Wait! I think I know what those are. Maybe it’s a move called Swift.” Melodi said,

“Swift?” Marine asked,

“Right, there must be a battle ahead.” Melodi said and they moved closer.


Soon, the sounds were now clear as possible. They peeked through the bushes and they saw Pokemon battling. “Wow! It’s a Pokemon Battle after all!” Arthur said with excitement,

“What’s a Pokemon Battle, Melodi?” Amy asked,

“A Pokemon Battle is a form of competition between Pokemon. In these battles, one or more of the Pokemon is typically well trained.” Melodi explained, though Amy wasn’t comfortable of what they’re doing and asked again,

“Can they take serious injuries after that? I think it’s kind of harsh.” she said,

“Well, they sometimes do, sometimes don’t. Depending on how they battle. It’s the life of a Pokemon anyway.” Melodi explained,

“Is that a real fight like argue or something like that?” Marine asked,

“No, it’s a competition of which one of them is stronger.” Melodi answered,

“…then why are there four of them battling each other? I think it should be usually two during fights.” Marine asked in curiosity,

“I think that’s a Double Battle, two Pokemon team up and battle against another team of two Pokemon. If either one of the teams can’t battle further, the opposing team wins.” Melodi explained,

“What’s the prize? They’re just risking themselves and that’s really dangerous.” Amy said,

“Well, in an official Pokemon Battle, like the ones held in stadiums have prizes like badges, trophies and something like that. In the Hokkaido Island, we don’t have the so-called, Pokemon Gym battles but rather Pokemon Contests. The uniqueness of this island though, that not only Pokemon can join to compete but shapes like us too and mobians like you who has powers, abilities and style. ” Melodi explained further,

“So…this battle isn’t in stadiums. That means that this kind of battle has no prize but merely Pokemon hurting themselves?” Amy asked,

“No, they’re rather training themselves, to be exact.” Melodi answered,

“Oh, so I fully see now. So they’re training for some official competition soon?” Amy asked,

“I think, or merely they’re just having fun.” Melodi answered,

“Having fun?! I don’t think that is fun to me.” Marine said with disappointment,

“As I said, it’s a Pokemon’s life.” Melodi said.


While they were watching the battle, Kirby, who was holding the soccer ball accidentally lets go of it and it rolls to the field where the Pokemon are battling. Kirby goes to the field to get the ball.

“Kirby, no!” Melodi exclaimed silently. Soon enough, Kirby gets it, and then suddenly, a Sonic Boom attack from a Buizel accidentally hits him.

“Kirby!!!” his friends exclaimed. He rolled continuously and bumped to the trunk of a tree. The battle stopped and the Pokemon saw him. Then a Buneary and a Buizel came to him. The Buneary then asked “Are you okay, little guy?” though Kirby seems to be okay.

His friends then went out from the bushes and went to him, Melodi then asks in worry, “Kirby, are you okay?” and Kirby replied “Poyo…” saying that he was fine.

“You must be his friends. Am I right?” the Buneary asked,

“Yes” Melodi answered,

“We’re so sorry that your friend got hurt from out battle.” the Buneary said,

“It’s okay; it’s just a little sore.” Melodi said,

“Oh, we haven’t introduced ourselves. I’m Anne Elise Montez, you can call me Alice.” she introduced herself,

“I’m Eric Myers, call me Eric.” the Buizel introduced himself.

Then the rest of the Pokemon came near to them, an Aipom then introduced herself, “My name is Hikari Mory. Please call me Hikari.”

“I’m Pipe Montez and this is Sparky Montez. Call us by our first name, Pipe and Sparky.” the Piplup introduced himself along with his little brother, which is a Pachirisu.

“Hi! I’m Melodi, this is Kirby.” Melodi introduced herself along with Kirby and he said “Poyo!” which he means hello.

“I’m Amy Rose.” Amy introduced herself, “I’m Cream and this is Cheese.” Cream said as she introduced herself along with Cheese, “I’m Marine.” Marine introduced herself,

“I’m Arthur and this is Kenny.” Arthur introduced himself along with Kenny.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you all.” Alice said,

“By the way, what were you doing here?” Eric asked,

“Well, we saw something in the forest when we were in the palace. We got suspicious and checked it out.” Melodi explained,

“And we saw your awesome battle!” Arthur added,

“Oh! Were you spying at us? That’s really embarrassing!” Alice said as she blushes,

“Speak for yourself, Alice. It was really fun after all.” Eric said,

“Well…you said it is fun...So…if we may ask you a little favor…”Arthur said,

“Yes, what is it?” Eric asked,

“…Can we have a battle with you?” Arthur asked,

“What!!” Amy, Cream and Marine said in a shock,

“I’ll join you too, Arthur!” Melodi said,

“Ooh…we’ve never seen a shape like you battle before.” Hikari said,

“Now this is going to be really interesting.” Alice said,

“If you’re looking for a strong challenger, you’ve picked the right Pokemon!” Eric said confidently,

“I’ll tag with you, Eric.” Pipe said,

“Melodi, do you think this is safe for you?” Amy asked,

“Don’t worry, Amy. Though, this will be our first battle but we will try our best.” Melodi answered,

“Okay then, we’ll cheer for you!” Cream said and Cheese cheered,

“I rather explore around the forest some more.” Marine said with a bit of disappointment,

“Come on, Marine. This will be fun!” Cream pleased,

“Alright, alright, I’ll go watch with you.” Marine said but they never knew that she got other plans. She said to herself “While their eyes are stuck watching that boring battle, I’ll go check around the forest for myself.”


Then Melodi, Arthur, Eric and Pipe take place on the open field, while the rest sat on a log, except for Hikari, as she will be the referee. Marine sat on the most edge part for her to have an unnoticeable exit.

“These shapes have no match for our water type combinations, Pipe. Besides, they’re beginners anyway.” Eric said to Pipe confidently,

“Well, maybe you’re right. But don’t be too confident, they might outsmart you.” Pipe said to Eric,

“Arthur, those Pokemon have tons of experience through battling and they have a lot of strategies waiting to show up. We need to be careful and act fast.” Melodi said to Arthur,

“Okay Melodi, but…I use fire-type moves and those Pokemon are all water-type Pokemon. How am I supposed to hit their weakness?” Arthur asked,

“Well, we’ll do it this way…” Melodi replied,

“I hope the battle won’t be that harsh as I expected.” Amy said in worry,

“What makes you think of it? This is just a play battle.” Alice said,

“I know, but your friends there sure are really though themselves just by looking at them.” Amy explained,

“Well, maybe you’re right. But they know what to do.” Alice said.


Then Hikari said her speech “Okay then, it seems that the two teams are ready for battle. When one side is unable to continue, the other side gains their victory. And…let the battle begin!” then the battle started.

Then Pipe rushed with a simple Peck attack to hit Arthur, though he dodged it. He immediately attacked back with Flamethrower and Pipe got hit and crash to the ground.

“Wow! What an amazing Flamethrower!” Alice said with amazement,

“This is their first battle, but they sure know how to defend themselves.” Amy said,

“But Pipe, being a water-type Pokemon doesn’t take much damage from a fire-type move.” Sparky explained,

“Oh…I see.” Amy said.

Eric then used Sonic Boom at Melodi; she attacked back with Split Cutter. “Whoa! What’s that move?” Alice asked as she saw it coming. Then the two moves collided but the move called Split Cutter can multiply by two when colliding to any matter three times. It went to Eric but he dodged it as he used Aqua Jet.

Pipe stood up and used BubbleBeam at Arthur, he fights back with Flamethrower and the two moves collide, but since BubbleBeam has the advantage being a water-type move to a fire-type move, the Flamethrower became weaker and soon, Pipe’s attack hits Arthur.

Eric is in Aqua Jet mode and flew directly to Melodi, she tried to evade it but Eric’s speed seems to be really fast and can catch up, so the attack hit her.

“Melodi!” Amy yelled,

“Now this is getting boring. I think it’s time for my get-away.” Marine said to herself and she sneaked out of the open field.

Melodi and Arthur are now weak but they can still stand up. “Oh no, Melodi and Arthur are getting weak.” Cream said as Cheese became nervous,

“Pipe, finish them off.” Eric said and then Pipe loaded a Whirlpool attack.

“W-what’s that?!” Cream asked with fright,

“It’s a Whirlpool. Pipe usually uses this as his finishing move.” Sparky explained,

“What are they going to do?” Amy asked,

“I don’t know, maybe they’re going to lose this battle.” Kenny replied.

Then the attack launch at them but Melodi used Atom Sphere at it. When it made contact, it exploded and the Whirlpool vanishes.

“What?!” Eric became astounded. Then in a flash, Arthur fired Fire Ball at them, they dodged it and Eric used Aqua Jet to move closer to them. When it was close enough, he stopped and on that second state, he attacked them with Water Pulse close contact. Arthur and Melodi got hit by it and got knocked out.

“Oh no!” their friends said in a shock,

“Melodi and Arthur are unable to battle, Eric and Pipe wins!” Hikari said,

“Yay! We won!” Pipe cheered as Eric stood silent, smiling as he folds his arms,

Melodi and Arthur’s friends went near to them and Arthur said in disappointment “We lost...”

“Well, we did our best anyway.” Melodi said,

“It was fun battling with you, guys.” Pipe said as he and Eric went near to them,

“Your style of battle is good enough for starters. You even shocked me at the last minute.” Eric explained,

“Yeah! You’re moves are really unique. It’s like we’ve never seen it before.” Alice added,

“Thanks, you guys.” Melodi and Arthur said,

“By the way, where did Marine go?” Cream asked as she was looking for her,

“Huh? Where did she wander off to? We have to find her!” Amy said, and they all moved including the Pokemon to help search for Marine but they never knew that one of Arthur’s fire attacks that missed hit a tree far away and it’s starting to burn further and further.


Soon enough, the sun is almost setting and they haven’t seen a sign of her. All of them gathered again and Amy said “Marine couldn’t be found anywhere. I wonder where she gone off to now?”

“Don’t worry, we’ll find her soon.” Alice said,

“Or maybe she returned back to the palace.” Kenny said in theory,

“Without letting us know? That’s not herself.” Amy said,

“This is a waste of time. Don’t you think she will go back home when she gets hungry?” Eric suggested,

“Maybe, but you’re being a bit rude, Eric.” Alice said to him,

“Well, it does make sense anyway. A girl like her doesn’t want to get stranded in the middle of the forest at night.” Eric said back as he folded his arms, looking away,

“But I don’t think Marine can go back to the palace that easily. She might get lost, and besides she’s still new here.” Cream said,

“Well, this makes us no choice but to use the Warpstar again.” Melodi said,

“That’s a brilliant idea, Melodi!” Amy said,

“A Warpstar, what’s that?” Hikari asked,

“You’ll see.” Melodi replied. She then hopped forward and yelled “Send the Warpstar!!” and it magically appeared out of nowhere.

“Whoa! What’s that thing?!” Eric asked in a shock,

“Eric, see and learn.” Amy replied and she giggles and Eric stares at her being upset,

Kirby then hop onto it and Melodi said, “Kirby, try finding Marine through the air.” and Kirby controls the Warpstar and moved away to look for her. Suddenly, Amy smells something,

“Wait…I smell something weird.” she said,

“Eh! That thing is smoke!” Pipe exclaimed,

“Smoke? Where?!” Cream exclaimed, then the smoke starts to thicken up and they start to cough. Alice took Sparky to protect him from the smoke since he’s too young. Then they saw fire up ahead in the distance.

“…Fire?!” Alice said as she became astounded,

“We have to get out of here!” Arthur suggested,

“But not leaving Marine behind” Amy said, and then they heard someone yelling for help.

“Wait…that’s Marine!” Cream said,

“Come on! We have to rescue her before it’s too late!” Amy said.

Kirby then came back and Melodi asked to him “Kirby, did you find her?” and he nodded, “Kirby, can you lead the way to where she is.” she pleased and Kirby moved to the direction where she saw her and they all followed him.


Meanwhile deep in the burning forest, Marine was trapped inside. The burning branches start to fall to the ground and she tries avoiding it from being burned. She ran away as she coughed harder, trying to find a way out. Then suddenly, she heard her friends calling her.

“…I’m right here guys!!” she yelled as she coughed, but then a large branch burned and then it fall to her. She screamed as she was about to get hit but then Eric’s Water Gun and Pipe’s Bubblebeam hit it and it cooled down. It moved a bit and it landed close to her instead of being hit.

“Marine!” they all yelled at her. She ran to them and hugged Cream and Amy,

“Oh girls, if it wasn’t for you, I could have been burned.” Marine said with relief,

“Actually, if it wasn’t for you, we couldn’t have got into this trouble.” Cream said,

“Marine, I told you not to wonder off by your own!” Amy scolded her,

“Oh…sorry…I got bored for a while...” Marine explained faintly,

“Forget that for now. We have to get out of here!” Eric interrupted and they looked for a way out of the burning forest.


Meanwhile back at the palace, Memu, who was in her room went to the terrace and saw the fire somewhere in the forest. “My word! A fire is starting to spread! I don’t want that to burn our palace. I have to do something quick!” she said in a shock and went back inside to find a way to stop the fire.


Back at the burning forest, they keep running and looking for a way to escape until they returned back to the open field. Then they got surrounded by flames. The smoke gets really thick and they started to cough even harder.

“…The smoke is so thick…I can’t breathe much longer…” Cream said as she coughed,

“Eric, Pipe, do something!” Alice said to them,

“Alright! Let’s pour this fire down. Pipe, let’s use our strongest moves to make things fast.” Eric said and Pipe agreed.

Eric then used Water Pulse and Pipe used Whirlpool at the flames. Slowly, the fire starts to put out but there are still more coming from the other direction. Eric and Pipe keeps on firing, but to them this isn’t enough to pour all of it.

“This is no use; we can’t finish this all out! We need more support!” Eric said as he keeps on firing,

“Then we’ll have to let Kirby help you.” Melodi said,

“Melodi, what can Kirby do?” Arthur asked,

“You’ll see, but first, I need you Eric to fire Water Pulse at him.” Melodi said,

“What are you talking about?” Eric asked,

“No time for asking questions! Just do it!” Melodi exclaimed,

“This is a waste of time!!” Eric exclaimed,

“Trust me!” she pleased. He then stood silent for a while.

Then he said “Okay…here goes” and fired Water Pulse at Kirby,

“Now Kirby, inhale it!” Melodi commanded and Kirby starts to inhale. The others tried to put themselves on place to avoid being sucked in too, since Kirby’s inhaling powers is too great. Soon enough, he inhaled the attack.

“He…he inhaled it?!” Eric said in a shock,

“Do not get fooled by his cuteness because he is much powerful than you can expect. Kirby has great inhaling powers and that is his basic technique.” Melodi explained,

“…W-What’s going to happen?” Cream asked in curiosity. Then suddenly, Kirby jumped high and transformed into Water Kirby.

“W-what happened to him?!” Amy asked in a shock,

“After inhaling such object entirely, he copies that ability or possibly even the appearance. He now became, Water Kirby!” Melodi explained further,

“Whoa! Awesome…” Arthur and Kenny said with amazement,

“So I see that the keeper of the Warpstar is really extraordinary himself.” Marine said,

“Now Kirby, help Eric and Pipe to put out the fire” Melodi said and Kirby starts firing Water Pulse at the flames, Eric and Pipe then help him. Soon enough, they made a flameless pathway.

“Everyone, through here, we’ll continue making a pathway until we’re out of this place” Eric said and they all run through it but there are still some parts that are burning. They continued to fire until soon they can escape the burning forest and run away even farther until they reached the entrance of the palace.

“We’ve escaped.” Amy said in a relief,

“Is everyone okay?” Alice asked, and everyone seems to be fine but panting. Then on time, the fire-trucks came and start to pour down the fire.

“Just in time” Melodi said. Then her parents, Memu and Parm came and asked in worry,

“Melodi, what happened to you? You were inside the forest at that time?” she asked,

“We’re fine now mom. We just got out.” Melodi replied.

“Ooh, my darling. It’s a good thing I called the firefighters on time.” Memu said in relief,

Then Officer Jenny came and asked to them, “Now, don’t tell me you’ve started the fire.” and everyone looked down.

“Officer, don’t blame my child and her friends. It must be an accident that happened.” Parm pleased,

“Well, I think I could have done that but I’ve changed my mind. At least can you just tell me what were you doing in the forest?” Officer Jenny asked,

“Well…we were having a battle, but we don’t know how the fire started.” Alice explained,

“Maybe one of your attacks caused it? And probably you just didn’t notice.” Officer Jenny said, and they all looked to what they’ve done and said sorry to her.

“Well, at least things can turn our fine soon and after all, it was an accident. I’ll give you a chance today.” Officer Jenny said,

“Thank you so much, officer.” Melodi said,

“So, it seems you meet some Pokemon friends as well.” Memu said as she saw the Pokemon,

“Well...yeah” Melodi said faintly,

“So tell me, where do you live? What where you doing here in the first place?” Memu asked,

“Well, we all live in Muroran Town, and we came here for the upcoming Pokemon Contest here in Sapporo City. We were supposed to find a hotel in the city.” Alice explained,

“Well, forget about hotels now. Our palace has a lot of rooms. You can stay here with us.” Parm said,

“R-really?! That’s sounds awesome!” Hikari said with excitement,

“Thanks a lot, mister!” Alice said,

“We’ll get to know each other better. Right now, you need some rest.” Parm said.


It has been a harsh day, so Melodi and her friends do deserve some rest. But they managed to meet more new friends on the way and they’re even invited to stay in the palace with them. As the sun sets, they all moved into the palace as the firefighters pour the fire down.



The Next Episode:

Melodi hasn’t showed Marine about the place she has to show after lunch time, so she will save it until the Pokemon have finished their tour, and Cream never knew that her mother will come as well to be with her, she’s really surprised and happy. Suddenly, Sparky found someone deep in the forest; he got suspicious and followed it. Who could that be? Sparky will surely discover something mysterious during this, and that mysterious someone.
